Understanding Your Numbers Changes Everything

Financial reports shouldn't feel like reading a foreign language. We teach you to spot what matters, ask better questions, and make confident decisions based on real data.

How We Got Here

Started in a Tamworth office with one clear goal: help people actually understand their financial data instead of just collecting it.

2018

First Workshop

Ran our pilot session with six local business owners who were drowning in spreadsheets but starving for insights. That's when we knew this had to be our focus.

2021

Regional Expansion

What worked in Tamworth worked elsewhere. We expanded across regional NSW, adapting our methods for different industries while keeping the core principles intact.

2023

Digital Platform Launch

Built out our online learning system so participants could work through materials at their own pace. Face-to-face sessions remained for the complex stuff.

2025

Focused Curriculum

Refined our approach based on feedback from over 200 participants. Our September 2025 program launches with modules built from real questions people actually asked.

Read Financial Data Like It's Telling You a Story

Most courses dump terminology on you. We show you how to look at a balance sheet and immediately see what's working and what needs attention.

You'll learn to spot trends before they become problems, ask your accountant the right questions, and actually use those monthly reports instead of filing them away.

Questions People Ask at Each Stage

Different concerns come up before, during, and after the program. Here's what we hear most often.

1

Before Enrolling

  • Do I need accounting background?
  • How much weekly time commitment?
  • Can I apply this to my specific industry?
  • What if I can't make a session?
2

During Program

  • Can I get feedback on my actual reports?
  • How do I practice between sessions?
  • What if a concept doesn't click?
  • Can I connect with other participants?
3

After Completion

  • Do I get continued access to materials?
  • Can I revisit sessions later?
  • What if I need clarification months later?
  • Are there advanced follow-up options?

Hector Drummond

Program Director

Spent fifteen years explaining financial statements to people who'd rather be doing literally anything else. Eventually figured out how to make it interesting.

I've worked with grain farmers, retail shop owners, consulting firms, and manufacturing operations across regional Australia. Each one taught me something about how different people process numbers differently.

Our next intake starts September 2025. Sessions run Tuesday evenings for ten weeks, with optional Saturday workshops for anyone who wants deeper dives into specific topics.
